Coaching FAQs
What is life coaching?
Life coaching is
a two-way relationship. Working together with a professional coach, you will
look at where you are in your life currently. This will help you to identify
what you want in the future. Life coaching covers your whole life and you may
wish to focus on a particular area, such as career, happiness, wellbeing,
relationships or anything else that is important to you.
How is coaching different
from therapy and counselling?
Coaching is not
counselling or any type of therapy. Whereas therapy and counselling focus on
what has happened in your past, coaching looks at where you are now and where
you want to be in the future.
How can coaching help me?
Each and every one of us has
the awareness that we can do or be what we want in life, but many of us lose
this ability.
One day, we wake up and feel that there is more to life.
This is where life coaching can help.
What
does a life coach do?
A life coach will facilitate the process
to allow you to set goals and targets. Using a range of tools and techniques,
a life coach can help you to work towards those goals.
A life coach
will help you to achieve your goals through asking challenging questions,
truly listening to you, and providing you with the motivation to enable you to
achieve your full potential. Like having a plan for a new house or an
itinerary for your holiday, you will develop your own life map to set and
achieve amazing results.
How does it work?
Life coaching
can be done face-to-face or by telephone, which means that there are no
geographical constraints.
