Are you happy at work?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
According
to a recent "Happiness at work" survey undertaken by
Badenoch and Clark, one in four office workers are unhappy
with their job.
People are motivated by different things at different
stages in their career. Some may be happy if they have
job security, others crave a high income or less commuting
time. 36% of British workers crave more time with their
family and stress levels have increased for private and
public sector employees over the last 10 years.
Find out how you can be happier at work - ask yourself the
following questions:
On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you with work right
now?
What do you need to change in your job or career right now
to get better job satisfaction?
What would you like to change about your work or
workplace?
Which parts of your job do you enjoy?
What work would you really love to do?
What steps can you take over the next year to help you to
do this?
These questions will help you to focus on what is
important to you to achieve great job satisfaction - be as
imaginative and creative as you can.
If you are passionate about your job, career or business,
you will be positive, energetic and look forward to new
challenges!
